Looking for some delicious food, tasty beverages, or scrumptious snacks in the state of Arkansas?? This is the post for you! Eureka Springs, Arkansas Anglers If you are looking for a place to grab a bite that isn't located in the busy area of downtown Eureka Springs and don't mind a quick scenic drive, grab food at Anglers! I enjoyed my catfish and shrimp combo and my date loved the salmon and mashed potatoes. If you are looking to start with an appetizer...try the fried okra! The wait was super quick. You are in luck if you get to sit on the patio because the view of Arkansas nature is beautiful! Main Street Cafe Looking for a brunch spot in Eureka Springs?? Main Street Cafe is THE place to go! Start your morning off with a hot cup of coffee and a class of cold milk! The country ham was spectacular. I also had a side of homemade shredded potatoes, 2 over easy eggs, and a juicy biscuit. The omelet was savory and completely filled him up. We didn't make a reservation and got in time before the line. Regardless of the wait..totally worth it! Eureka Springs Coffee House Best place to grab coffee in downtown Eureka Springs! We ordered the smoked ham & cheddar omelette and the Razorback omelet...both were so large and tasty (we had to take a lot to go because of the generous portions). Both sides, the grits & potatoes, tasted fantastic. We also ordered some coffee, hot and cold. The place is pretty busy, but you can order on your phone and pick it up when it's ready. The inside is super clean & the staff is also very friendly! Amigos Amigos is a great spot to go if you are craving some Mexican food, chips & salsa, and/or a cold margarita. After a long day of walking around downtown Eureka Springs, the margarita flight hit the spot! I didn't get pictures of my plate (too hungry), but the I'd recommend trying the Stevens Special or the Maria's Taco Platter. You also can't go with with their enchiladas or the queso dip. Eureka Charcuterie Grab a dessert crepe at Eureka Charcuterie! Warm crepes, unique jams & jellies, flavorful meat, tasty cheese, dips, chips & crackers, snacks, jarred mustards, pickled vegetables, & more. Eureka Charcuterie is a great place to visit if you are looking for snacks or gifts, having guests over for dinner or a party, or simply looking to shop somewhere unique in the downtown area. We ordered a warm crepe with fresh strawberries and homemade crème. We also purchased a bag of unbelievably spicy pork rinds. Make sure to stop here while shopping in downtown Eureka Springs! Sugar & Spite Candy for dessert?? Not your typical candy store: Sugar & Spite has plenty of tasty & fun options! Snag a handful of your classics: War Heads, taffy, Air Heads, Hershey products & more. If you are feeling like trying something new: try a PB&J chocolate bar, cucumber Pringle's, prepared shredded squid, Jubes & or literally anything else in the store. Even if candy isn't your thing, you have to stop inside Sugar & Spite while shopping downtown Eureka Springs! Fayetteville, Arkansas Farrell's Lounge Bar & Grill We went to Fayetteville from out of town to watch the football game and went I Farrell's to watch part of it. Thankfully we made it in time to get a seat at the bar because it was very packed. JJ's Grill We went to Fayetteville from out of town during the Arkansas game and decided to go to JJ's Grill to watch it. The place was PACKED and I'm surprised we got a seat, but I'm happy we did! The vibe was happy and fun! We ordered a burger and queso off of the game day menu. There were also some drink specials! I highly recommend going to JJ's for dinner, drinks, lunch, and to watch the game. Bentonville, Arkansas Rolling Taco We stopped at the Rolling Taco food truck parked in the downtown Bentonville area during the weekend farmers market and absolutely loved our tacos! We tried the carnitas tacos with the hot salsa. They have a variety of different tacos fillings, along with breakfast burritos and tacos. These tacos and burritos are the perfect snack to enjoy while walking around the market. The food came out quick and the staff was very friendly. Make sure to try these tacos at the farmers market while you are in downtown Bentonville! Bentonville Taco & Tamale We checked out Bentonville Taco & Tamale while visiting friends that moved to the area. We had a fantastic dining experience! The restaurant is clean, vibrant, and modern with friendly, energetic staff. We started with the salsa trio served with house chips (your choice of salsa from the variety available). We tried both of the house tamales: pork & beef tamales with a red chili broth and the sweet potato tamales with a tomatillo-like broth. The rice and pinto beans tasted perfect with the tamales! If you are visiting Bentonville, make sure to check out this restaurant and let me know what you think! As a marketing graduate, I also enjoy looking at the different branding research and techniques that are used to entice customers to buy their products. Lays is a popular brand that offers different flavors of potato chips based on the region the chips are being sold in. In America, we typically see flavors like Original/salted, BBQ, and Sour Cream & Onion. In Thailand, you can find popular tastes like Truffle, Seaweed, Prawn/Shrimp, and other seafood flavors. Looking to buy some unique treats?? I SWEAR we could spend hours in 7/11 Thai gas stations picking out snacks to try. If this food inspo hasn't made you want to add Thailand to your bucket list yet...check out more of my Thailand content on IG: @throughbecsspecs.
- Korean BBQ in Seoul, South Korea
Many have had the pleasure of eating Korean BBQ or Korean style chicken, but have you tried Korean BBQ physically located in Korea?? Welcome to the Maple Tree House in Seoul, South Korea, where premium meat is barbequed right in front of you and your guests at the table. "Starting from a quaint small house in Seoul, we began our journey in becoming a 'must go' premium barbeque destination for both Koreans and foreigners alike." This restaurant won a Certificate of Excellence through Trip Advisor and for very good reasons.... As you walk through the massive front entrance, you are hit with the delicious smell of cooked meat and maple spices. This contemporary and unique restaurant is covered in beautifully cut maple trees and recycled green bottles. We ordered the Beef Bulgogi Set between three people and we were as full as ticks! Depending on your meal, you will be served side dishes to pair with your meal. Our Maple BBQ dish was served with tofu, freshly cut lettuce wraps, kimchi, bean paste soup (best spices I've ever tasted in a soup), a fresh garden salad, seasonings, and steamed rice (a sticky purple rice). Are you wondering what Beef Bulgogi is?? Beef Bulgogi is thin slices of chuck-roll cut and prepared for your table. At this location, the beef is also flavored with maple syrup. "All our meats are of the highest quality, and treated with the utmost respect and care. Our premium beef cuts are aged perfectly to bolster flavor and further tenderize the already tender cuts. Our pork is chilled fresh and carefully stored in optimum conditions to provide the best taste and texture possible. Our accompanying menu is authentic, utilizing proven Korean traditional recipes and the freshest of ingredients." This dish is cooked at the table for best fresh results. Talk about a fun and different dining experience! Get out your chopsticks and try something new! Planning a trip to Seoul, South Korea?? Make sure to eat at the Maple Tree House Korean BBQ restaurant!
