Link to SkyBar Paris Website Carette Address: 25 Pl. des Vosges, 75003 Paris, France OR 4 Pl. du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre, 75016 Paris, France Carette is the most *adorable* cafe in Paris, France. The hot chocolate was thick and creamy. The pasty was flaky and full or sweet chocolate. This is a very popular spot to grab a coffee or espresso in Paris so keep in mind that you may have to wait for a table. Thankfully, the tables move pretty quick! Link to Carette Website Crepe Street Vendor Located: throughout Paris, France You cannot go to Paris without trying a crepe! I won't lie...I'm not a huge banana fan. I was very skeptical in trying a crepe with a banana in it BUT the tasty Nutella paired phenomenally with it! We ordered the crepes on the way to the SkyBar at night. A lot of people will even order warm, "sandwich" crepes during their lunch breaks! - Egyptian Spa Day in Cairo
Going to a spa on vacation may not be something that is on your list of "must-dos", but if you are looking to treat yourself while in Cairo...keep reading! After a long day of visiting the Pyramids of Giza or after a long flight to get to Egypt, a spa day might be exactly what you are looking for (even if you didn't think about visiting a spa at first). I LOVED receiving my massage so much that I almost feel asleep. I left feeling like a brand new lad! #treatyourself The spa we visited was actually located inside of the Four Seasons Hotel (we were not staying there as guests, we were simply just going to their spa and using the facilities for that day). I don't want to say "it's cheap here" or "it's expensive here" because everyone has their own budget. Everyone lives in different locations where finding spa treatments may be more or less expensive than the spa we visited in Cairo. For that reason, the link to their prices is right here! I recommend looking at the prices and judging yourself if it is within the budget for a vacation in Cairo. Keep in mind that a majority of the total prices for services in Egypt don't include tips. Be conscientious when planning your trip to bring some smaller bills to tip appropriately. For transparency sake: I had received the NEFERTARI HERBAL MASSAGE: "Using warm herbal poultices mixture of cloves, chamomile and mint application along the meridian points, this massage helps ease muscle tension and calm the senses. It is strongly recommended for those who suffer from emotional imbalance, sleeping disorders or Jet Lag that result in muscle tension". This treatment cost me around $190 in US Dollars. This covered the 60 minute massage but also included a full day of using the Spa amenities. There are countless other treatments and services provided at this spa if the service I received doesn't scream your attention. My favorite part about the Spa area was the relaxation room that you were taken into after your massage. The welcoming workers brought us homemade ginger & lemon tea (this drink made the TOP of my list for the #BestTeaEver). The view of Cairo from the Relaxation Room is UNREAL. Cairo is a beautiful city and the relaxation room gives you a wonderful view of a section of the Cairo skyline along with sailboats gently gliding on the Nile River. Some of the spa amenities include a cold water plunge, a tucked away hot tub for privacy, a sauna, a full swimming pool with attached hot tub, full access to warm showers, restrooms, and small accessories in the powder room such as lotion, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, and so much more. The lockers in the powder room also came with a personalized lock that kept your items safe & secure while relaxing during your massage. I would give this spa a 10/10 for everything. The massage was unbelievably relaxing, the tea was splendid, the facility was clean and jaw-dropping with intricacy, and last but not least...the STAFF made the experience top notch. The employees genuinely love Cairo and take pride in ensuring they provide the best quality possible for their guests and customers. (p.s. PLEASE don't forget to tip...) The temperature felt great and the fall foliage was jaw-dropping! Planning a trip to Chattanooga? This quick read is for you! - Say Whatttt-A-Burger Is in Kansas City Now???
He wanted it....and he got it! Patrick Mahomes (Chief's Player) campaigned to bring a Texas food favorite to Kansas City & he got his wish: Whataburger. Mahome's campaign should open up 30 different Whataburgers throughout the KC area. I love the fact that a football player is using his name to bring a great economic, financial and job-generating opportunity to Kansas City. I eat at Whataburger every time I am traveling down south in the US. I have visited Whataburger on birthday trips, spring breaks in college, family summertime vacations and more! This fast-food chain became popular because of their creamy shakes, the spicy ketchup, and delicious burgers. The store is located in Lee's Summit at 1450 N.E. Douglas St. The lines are LONG, but that is to be expected with a brand new restaurant that opened their doors. If you want to eat this goodness, prepare yourself for at least an hour wait. There are a handful of other Whataburger storefronts that will be opened throughout the KC Metro Area. If Lees Summit isn't close enough for you to drive to, stay tuned for more amazing locations! Curious as how the idea of bringing Whataburger to KC became a reality? Whataburger tweeted at Patrick Mahomes asking where the company should send this large amount of Ketchup. This tweet came out because of a joke that spurred from Mahomes eating steaks with ketchup! Mahomes had responded: "I just want a store in Kansas City!" I hope this post makes your mouth water & crave Whataburger even more to make the drive to the open location! Thank you for reading!
